Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
Spring Training Facility Administrative Assistant - West Palm Beach, Florida - Houston Astros (West Palm Beach, FL)

This position will be the primary receptionist at our Spring Training facility in West Palm Beach, Florida; as well as provide front line, day-to-day, functional support for the Houston Astros organization. 

Essential Functions:

1. Organizing, screening and prioritizing the flow of all internal and external communications as related to Spring Training operations. 
2. Answer incoming phone calls and handle all client/guest inquiries; to include general customer service inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
3. Manage facility credentialing for all staff, guest and/or clients.
4. Coordinate and receive deliveries, shipments and inventory for the facility and working staff.
5. Welcome on-site visitors and manage logistics to ensure they are routed to the appropriate locations and/or personnel.
6. Perform basic administrative duties.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phone and copy machine/scanner.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods of time; walk; use hands, handle or feel.  Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or GED and/or equivalent number of years of relevant experience.
2. 2-3 years of office administrative experience.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Superior customer service skills.
5. Adaptable to changing needs and situations.
6. High level of detail orientation.
7. Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
8. Ability to handle discreet and confidential information.
9. Flexibility to work irregular/extended hours, including nights, weekend and holidays as needed.
10. Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of business.
11. Exceptional ability to work in a team environment.
12. Flexible, adaptable, able to work under pressure and handle multiple and competing demands.
13. Excellent written and oral communications.
14. Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Preferred Education and Experience:
1. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
